Brian Kiel

Adjunct Professor
Brian Kiel is an adjunct professor at Charleston School of Law. He is currently an associate attorney with Carr Legal Group where he focuses on general civil litigation, personal injury, and criminal defense.

Experience & Activities

Born and raised just south of Atlanta, Georgia, he earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Valdosta State University and began his path to a legal career after college and serving in law enforcement for more than a decade.

Brian graduated from Charleston School of Law where he served as President of the Trial Advocacy Board program and competed in multiple national competitions. After law school, Brian clerked for the Honorable Edgar W. Dickson in the 1st Judicial Court, and then served as a Public Defender and Assistant Solicitor.

KielĀ is also the coach of the College of Charleston Mock Trial Club where he mentors undergraduates who compete in local and national trial competition.
