What made the learning experience distinct for me was the collaborative relationship that I had with the professors. The relationships really prepared me for practice. I felt like I was ready to hit the ground running. When I got into practice, I was ready to collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, other attorneys, from a faculty perspective.

Pro Bono Populi is one of the reasons that I really love this place. I've always done community service, even like during law school in high school. I'm still involved in student organizations where we do community service. I like working to help underrepresented communities.

Law school taught me that I could do anything I put my mind. I know that may sound cliche, but there were times where I was just like, man, I'm not as smart as everyone. The way the classrooms are set up with building confidence and being comfortable because the professors do a great job, letting everyone know that we're all on the same, even playing field. Everyone is going to experience the exact same thing you are.

The open door policy is super important. to me. When I was considering the different law schools there was just this feeling of family on campus. Faculty and student relationships are just like I imagined it would be from touring. My professors and classmates really care about each other. There’s this great dynamic between everyone.
