The Charleston School of Law is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Friday, January 14 from 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at 81 Mary Street in Charleston. The event is open to the public.
The Red Cross is currently experiencing a 10-year low in blood supply and is in dire need of donations. Every unit we donate at our blood drive can help save up to three lives.
According to the Red Cross, recipients of the blood donations from the drive often include “accident or trauma victims, cancer patients, a mother giving birth, premature babies, a transplant recipient, or surgical candidate.”
All donors qualify to win a trip for two to this year’s big game in Los Angeles and a home theater package. You can register to give blood at redcrossblood.org. Enter the sponsor code: “Law” to begin your registration.
