Faculty

The faculty and staff of the Charleston School of Law are committed to providing students with a quality legal education.

The Faculty

The major responsibility of the law school's educational program rests upon the full-time faculty and, substantially all of a student's instruction during the first year of a full-time program or first two years of a part-time program will be provided by full-time faculty.  The School of Law benefits from the assistance of respected members of the bench and bar who also teach courses in diverse areas of the law.

Dean's Senior Leadership Team

Dean Andy Abrams leads a group of  associate deans, senior administrators, and directors who provide counsel and advice to the dean, communicate with key campus constituents and address the critical issues concerning the Charleston School of Law.

Adjunct Faculty

The Charleston School of Law is fortunate to have experienced members of the bench and bar on their adjunct faculty.  The knowledge and expertise that these professionals bring to their teaching provide breadth and depth to the school's curriculum, as well as invaluable experience to the students.  The Legal Research, Analysis and Writing adjunct faculty is composed of a diverse group of professionals drawn principally from the Charleston Bar. Other adjunct professors are selected for their expertise in a specialized area of the law.
