The goal of the Center for Dispute Resolution (the "Center") is to bring together students, educators, practitioners in the field of dispute resolution, and industry leaders and experts to study and promote the use of collaborative problem solving. The Center recognizes the need and the opportunity to foster interdisciplinary growth and improvement in the management and resolution of conflicts.

The Center is meeting this goal by providing students, professionals, and institutional leaders and their employees with educational and training programs, by supporting research and the development of educational and training publications, and by developing a resource laboratory to support (a) the Center's programs and (b) the collection and dissemination of information applicable to the promotion of collaborative conflict resolution.
