ABA Judicial Clerkship Program
The ABA
Judicial Clerkship Program annually brings together minority
law students, attorneys, and judges from across the country
for an intensive program designed to encourage students to seek
judicial clerkships.
The Charleston School of Law made a three-year commitment to
fund the participation of four to six students each year in
the American Bar Association Judicial Clerkship Program. In
2007, six students from the Law School attended this event in
Miami.. This year, four law students participated in the program
in Los Angeles.
Parker Poe-Law Firm Life: An Overview
Annually, Parker
Poe hosts an event that gives minority law students an opportunity
to interact with attorneys at Parker Poe and to learn more about
the practice of law. Additionally, the Parker Poe attorneys
provide interviewing tips and advice on how to "survive"
law school.
