SIGN UP FOR PRE-LAW INSTITUTE INFO SESSION ON JAN. 10

The Charleston School of Law and College of Charleston will offer a free information session in January to rising juniors in college to outline the Pre-Law Institute program.

Rising juniors are encouraged to attend the free Jan. 10 session, which starts at 9 a.m. in The Barrister lobby at 81 Mary Street in Charleston. The program is slated to end at 1 p.m.

Pre-Law Institute

Our mission is to assist students from first generational college families or groups underrepresented in the legal profession to prepare for admission to and successful completion of law school by:

  • Improving their communication skills needed to succeed in law school;

  • Preparing them to take the LSAT;

  • Assisting them in selecting a law school;

  • Introducing them to the importance of public service, high moral character, and unquestioned personal integrity in the profession of law;

  • Introducing them to the study of law and the justice system;

  • Introducing them to legal study skills;

  • Introducing them to legal writing skills.

The Charleston School of Law Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Its purpose is to receive bequests and donations to help students by funding scholarships. If you are interested in learning about the scholarship program, please contact the Office of Admissions.
